I've had ME/CFS for over 17 years and my condition has deteriorated over the years.
I am housebound, have fatigue, joint pains, muscle pains, cardiac pain and rhythm disturbances, headaches/migraines, flu-like symptoms, hormone imbalances. My blood tests show that I have many viruses and bacteria including two from a tick source (erlichia and babesia). I have tried many 'treatments' which at best have been of a palliative nature, mainly have made no difference at all, but some have caused a more rapid decline in my health.
I have recently heard of The Marshall Protocol which is being used in America and other contries to treat many chronic inflammatory diseases, apparently very successfully.It is a very intense treatment plan and requires a lot of dedication from the patient. Scientifically it makes a lot of sense to me and I don't understand why the doctors in this country haven't heard of it.
I was wondering if anyone has had any first hand experience of this treatment or knows of anyone in this country that has used The Marshall Protocol?
