The Medical Pages Pharmacy is a service offered to GPs registered with the Medical Pages website. It is an online pharmacy and delivery service that allows the GP to quickly write prescriptions and have them delivered directly to the patient. 

How do I get started ?

The GP registers with medical pages and fills in all required information including GMC number and practice address and contact information. A quick check is performed by Medical Pages to validate the GPs credentials then the GP may then log in to the Medical Pages Pharmacy.

How does it work ?

1. GP creates a new patient or selects one previously saved.
2. GP creates the prescription from an easily searchable list of products.
3. The prescription is saved and an email is sent to the GP and the pharmacy to confirm the order.
4. Once the order has been confirmed the patient rings the pharmacy at their own convenience to make payment.
5. The pharmacy dispatches the prescription via recorded delivery.

What are the benefits to the GP ?

The GP can quickly create prescriptions and see easily what products are available from the pharmacy. The GP is also entitled to a share of the profit made on the prescription.

What are the benefits to the Patient ?

Not all patients have easy access to a pharmacy and some have repeat prescriptions which must be refilled on a regular basis. This system allows them to recieve their prescription at home or at their place of work with ease.

How much does it cost ?

The pharmacy has no set up fee.

Costs are applied to the price of the prescription.
