What is a Top Level Domain ?
A top level domain is a website domain name that has a high relevance to the subject of that website.
Example
A site concerning facial filler treatments might be called "Facial Fillers".
Low Level Domain - www.FFillers.com
This domain name tells us nothing about the site
Top Level Domain - www.facialrestoration.com
This domain provides an excellent description of the likely content of the site and is easy to remember.
How are they prepared ?
Medical Pages deploys information sites on to these domains to encourage site traffic before your site even exists. This means that people who had previously searched for keywords relevant to your practice would have previously found a useful information site but will now find your site instead. For the example given above we would deploy an information site about facial filler treatments before uploading your site when it was completed.
